On 3rd Feb 2016, the first of three 2016-dated Presidential dollars was released by the United States Mint. This one memorializes Richard M. Nixon who served as the 37th President of the United States from 1969 to 1974. Buyers and collectors can choose from exciting product options like rolls, bags and boxes of the dollars in circulating quality.

One such special Presidential $1 coin is minted every year since 2007 to commemorate deceased U.S. Presidents in the order in which they served.

Obverse side of the latest Nixon dollar depicts a portrait of the president created and sculpted by Don Everhart. The words ‘RICHARD M. NIXON’ is inscribed above the effigy and ‘IN GOD WE TRUST’, ‘37TH PRESIDENT’ and ‘1969-1974’ circle underneath.

The reverse design showcases the Statue of Liberty, designed by Everhart. The statue is joined by the inscriptions ‘$1’ and ‘UNITED STATES OF AMERICA’.
